Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. The Registered Provider must ensure each Service User has a risk assessment to identify the risk of falls, take reasonable and practicable steps to mitigate identified risk and ensure action is taken after each fall to reduce future risk.
2. The Registered Provider must protect stocks of personal protective infection control equipment and continence garments to ensure effective infection control outcomes when this equipment is used.
3. The Registered Provider must ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of Service Users requiring weight, falls or allergy management, by implementing and following effective processes, including time scales, to ensure actions requested or in progress, to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of Service Users, are completed.
4. The Registered Provider must implement an effective system to assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of the service provided and that action is taken in response to the findings of these systems.
5. The Registered Provider must send the Care Quality Commission a report setting out what actions have been taken to improve the quality of the care provided. The report should include an overview of the monitoring of risk, medication, infection control, weight monitoring and falls and any actions taken in response to issues identified. The report must be received by the Care Quality Commission within 14 days of these conditions coming into effect and subsequent updated reports must also be sent on the last day of each month thereafter.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Ann Marie Howes Centre.
The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 32 service users at Ann Marie Howes Centre.
