Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

1. The Registered Provider must undertake a review of the use and storage of Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) at The Lodge to ensure that PPE is being used and stored in line with COVID 19: How to work safely in care homes and Covid-19: Putting on and taking off PPE – a guide for care homes. By 9 March 2021 the registered provider must submit a report to CQC detailing what action has been taken/is to be taken as a result of this review.

2. The registered provider must ensure that donning and doffing stations contain sufficient supplies of PPE. By 9 March 2021 you must send a report to CQC detailing what actions you have taken to ensure that donning and doffing stations contain sufficient supplies of PPE.

3. The Registered Provider must ensure that by 6 March 2021 a cleaning schedule is implemented to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19 at The Lodge. A copy of the cleaning schedule must be sent to CQC by 9 March 2021.

4. The registered provider must ensure they have systems in place to monitor the cleanliness of the service and to ensure cleaning schedules have been followed. By 9 March 2021 you must send a report to CQC detailing what actions you have taken to ensure systems are in place to monitor the cleanliness of the service.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 38 service users at The Lodge.

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at The Lodge.
