During a routine inspection
We found that people spoke highly of the agency and were positive about the standards of care they received. One person said: 'The support workers help me to go out, and to do shopping and house work. They are all kind and friendly'.
We observed that people receiving care were relaxed and comfortable in their own homes. They were enabled to carry out activities, outings and hobbies in line with their own preferences.
We found that the agency had good systems in place to ensure that people's ongoing health needs were being met.
The agency had reliable procedures to ensure that staff were suitable to work with vulnerable adults. Staff were trained in safeguarding policies and procedures.
We saw that staff received appropriate induction training, and mandatory training was kept up to date. Staff were supported in their different job roles.
People were asked for their views, and these were taken into account in carrying out ongoing monitoring of the service. Complaints were appropriately investigated, and any required action was taken to resolve these.
