During an inspection in response to concerns
'The home is nice and clean'.
'I come anytime and don't have to ring'.
'The meals are very good he has a choice with each meal'.
'He has plenty of drinks'.
'There are things going on regularly'.
'They let me know right away if anything happens or if he's not very well'.
We spoke to some of the people who live in the home and they told us that they felt well cared for and that the staff were 'lovely'.
During our visit to the service we met with the general practitioner (GP) and nurse practitioner from the local surgery. They told us that they visit the service two or three times weekly and had no concerns. They said that the staff were 'very good' at referring people and that they felt that working together with the staff at the home, people who live there receive good medical and nursing support.
