During a routine inspection
All care employees undertook the agencies induction programme which included mandatory training in topics such as moving and handling and basic first aid. We saw evidence that staff received regular supervision and an annual appraisal.
The agency had a complaints policy and procedure in place and people who used the service were given a copy of the policy which provided information on how they could make a compliant. We saw that records were stored in a safe and secure way and was easily accessible.
We spoke with some relatives and/or people who used the service on 14 February 2014.People we spoke with all said that they were happy with the service that they had received. A person that we spoke with said 'the carers are very well trained' another person we spoke with described their carer as 'lovely'
