During a routine inspection
One person said the service would always 'chop and change' to accommodate their changing needs and hospital appointments.
When we visited the service we took the opportunity to visit three people in their own homes at their invitation. One person said the service was 'excellent', that they had 'never known such good workers' and also told us that the care workers were 'happy with their work'.
A second person said the service was 'very good' and it was like 'your family coming in'. They said the visits made them happy and they 'like the girls coming'. This person said the care staff picked up on things if you were not very well or something was worrying you and gave a recent example of this.
One person told us that they did not have any worries about the people who came into their home. We asked what they would do if they did and they said they would call the person responsible for the service and would be confident the matter would be dealt with.
We asked a second person the same question and they too said they had no worries as did a third.
One person told us that they received quality assurance visits from the registered manager as noted in their care plan and they recalled them visiting recently.
We asked a second person if the provider came and checked that the service was OK and they said 'yes, not long ago'.
