During a routine inspection
During our inspection we spoke with three members of staff and four people who used the service. People told us they were happy living at Manor Park. One person said, 'It's brilliant here, they really understand me, we've had some new staff recently but they are spot on, everyone wants the best for us.'
People told us they were involved in decisions and changes to the service and they were given choices.
We found people's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plans.
We found there were infection control systems in place and these were adhered to.
Appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work.
The service had a complaints system in place and staff confirmed they were happy in dealing with any complaints. One staff member said, 'We have a straight forward procedure on how to record things, so I'm happy with what to do, the manager would investigate anything and we would alert her straight away if it was urgent, we always try and help though.'
