During a routine inspection
Staff were knowledgeable about the people they cared for. People were aware of how to report concerns. Staff knew about the signs of abuse and how to report their concerns.
Staffing levels had improved. One person said 'the time keeping is good. The office will ring if they (staff) are not going to be on time.' Another person told us 'staff are rarely late. They organise the rota to provide continuity." We saw there had been complaints about late visits and changes in staff providing care. The provider had begun to address these issues.
We saw the provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service.
Staff were supported with regular supervision and ongoing essential training. We saw there was a comprehensive induction programme for new staff.
