During a routine inspection
They told us that there were regular residents meetings where they talked about the home. They also told us there was a survey that they completed once a year.
They told us that they could speak to the registered provider and staff about what happened at the home and knew that what they said would be taken on board. They all told us they that staff treated them with respect and dignity and their privacy was always respected.
They all told us they that they went out most days, they went to day services during the week and shopping, to pubs or cafes at the weekend. They had recently returned fro a holiday at Butlins.
One person, a train enthusiast, told us they had gone on the Orient Express in January this year. They go to a railway club and train and bus spotting.
Another person told us they go to Church on Sundays with a relative and visit friends at the weekends.
Another person told us that they had a job working at Asda two days a week.
