During a routine inspection
People told us they were happy living in the home, they liked their bedrooms, the food was good, they chose what to eat, had their health needs met, and had the opportunity to participate in activities of their choice.
People told us they received the care and support that they wanted and needed. They told us staff listened to them and were approachable. People confirmed they felt safe living in the home and knew who to talk to if they had any worries or concerns. During our visit people showed signs of 'well being'. They were seen to be relaxed, went out into the community and participated in activities of their choice.
Staff spoke of enjoying their job supporting and caring for people at Jude House. They confirmed there was good teamwork and they felt well supported by management staff.
Comments from people included; 'It's nice here, the home is near where I lived,' 'Staff are nice,' 'I meet with staff every month, we talk about things,' 'I go to Neasden and Wembley, the buses are good,' 'I go to the shops', 'I sometimes see friends and family,' 'We get three good meals a day,' 'I get the food I like,' 'I can choose what I want,' 'I sometimes help staff to buy food,' 'I go to local places,' 'I go on holidays,' 'I enjoy going to different places,' 'I saw lots of things on holiday,' 'I see my social worker regularly,'
