During a routine inspection
On the day of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection visit five people were using the service. We met three people who were using the service and two of these people gave an opinion about the service. We talked with the relatives of three people who used the service. We also talked with three members of staff and the providers representative.
People who used the service said that they enjoyed going to 37 Westview Road for their respite care. We were told: 'I like it here.' And 'I'm alright.'
The relatives also felt people enjoyed spending time at 37 West View and told us: 'They're doing a good job there, we all need a break at times.'
And:
'The service is great for both of us.'
We found that people were supported to give consent. We saw that medication was well managed at the service. The premises met the needs of people who used the service.
We found that people felt able to give their opinion about the service.
