During a routine inspection
They also told us they feel care is provided that respects their privacy and dignity and enables them to be as independent as possible.
People we spoke to and their relatives told us that staff always put the people who use the service at the centre of their care and seek to respond to the individual's needs and wishes.
Relatives we spoke to told us they had been provided with plenty of information about the service, and how they would support them and their relative, and respond to queries the benefit and well-being of the individual receiving care.
'The staff are also concerned about the family. They were very good to us when my relative was unwell.'
People we spoke to told us:
"I feel lucky to have found the agency. They take age into account provide carers that suit me".
"The staff are all genuinely caring, both in the office and those who visit".
"The staff are very efficient, competent and confident in their work".
"They provide an excellent service. They do everything I want and always ask how I feel".
"I can't fault them, they are very good". 'They always ask me what I want and do it".
'The staff are very good and I feel comfortable with them'.
'They always send me the same one and that's good when it's so personal what they do'.
"Staff have good skills and knowledge and provide person centred care to a high standard".
'There is nothing to complain about the service is very good'.
"The agency is well organised responds quickly and efficiently to requests".
Registered manager's of care services that use the agency told us that staff are always efficient and professional with a person centred approach to their work. When needing staff they would always call this agency first.
The managers told us:
'The staff have good knowledge and skills'.
The staff have a very person centred approach and provide a high standard of care'.
'Staff are very professional and prepared to speak up about poor practice'.
'Staff are proactive, knowledgeable and work in a person centred manner'.
'The manager is very proactive and always ensures staff are confident'.
