Date of assessment 27 August 2024 to 06 September 2024. Care Promise is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people in their own home. At the time of this assessment, 51 people were in receipt of care and support. This assessment was carried out in response to concerns raised regarding the safe care and treatment of people living in the home. We did not find any evidence to support these concerns. However, we did find improvements were needed when assessing risks to people and ensuring care plans were regularly reviewed. The overall rating for the service has remained good based on the findings of this inspection.

People told us they received safe care from a consistent staff team. People said staff generally arrived on time and stayed for the designated amount of time. However, some people told us they sometimes experienced language barriers with certain staff members. People told us they received care and support from kind staff members. People said staff supported them at their own pace and took the time to get to know their likes and dislikes. People told us staff supported them to take their medicines safely and relatives said staff kept them updated with any changes in their family member’s health. People and relatives told us the provider was quick to respond to concerns and was easily contactable. People and relatives told us the registered manager was approachable and flexible to their needs.
