During a routine inspection
From speaking with staff and reviewing feedback from people who used the service we saw that there were arrangements in place for obtaining consent from people. One person wrote 'The Doctor involved both myself and my wife.'
People received care and welfare that met their needs. Staff described how they discussed the planning and delivery of care with people. We saw from feedback that people were happy with the care being provided. One person wrote 'Excellent service' another 'I am very happy that I have been referred here.'
The provider had systems in place for managing cleanliness and infection control. Responsibilities for cleaning were clearly identified and training had been provided to staff. We saw the property was clean and that cleaning was carried out regularly.
The staff we spoke with told us they felt supported to do their job. Staff told us that they enjoyed working here.
The provider had a system in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service being provided. This included the use of patient feedback forms.
