We carried out this off-site, responsive assessment on the 30 September 2024 in response to information of concern received. The provider submitted documented evidence to support their responses. The evidence was reviewed by a CQC inspector and the report written in response to that evidence, weighted against the concerns initially received. We found the practice had met regulations all regulations. The practice had systems to manage risks. Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation. At the time of our off-site responsive assessment, patients could access care, support and treatment when required. The Thatch Dental Practice is in Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. At the time of our assessment, the dental team included 2 dentists, 1 foundation dentist, 7 dental nurses (6 of whom were trainee dental nurses), 3 dental hygienists, 1 dental therapist, 1 practice administrator and a receptionist. The practice had 5 treatment rooms.
