During a routine inspection
'I have been attending this practice for some time now and I find them very good and helpful'.
"I have no complaints at all".
We checked the arrangements for infection control and cleaning of instruments and found these were appropriate.
All the staff had good levels of training in areas such as clinical practice, safeguarding, and infection control and the staff kept their professional development up to date.
We saw that the practice was able to care for patients with special needs. There was no provision for people with disabilities as there were steps up to the front door and, as the building was listed and the steps at the front very steep, the practice was unable to erect a ramp for wheelchair use. However the practice had had no problems with this issue.
We had evidence to show that the staff team were aware of the need to safeguard vulnerable children and adults from harm. All staff had recently completed training in this discipline.
