During a routine inspection
During our inspection, we found each person's chronology of treatment had been documented in considerable detail. We found that each person had their medical history and any risk factors specific to them reviewed and recorded. We saw that arrangements were in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies, including the provision of items for use in an emergency.
We found that staff were appropriately qualified and registered and receiving professional development relevant to their roles. We saw the environment was clean and found that overall, the service had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
We also found the service had an effective complaints system in place. People were made aware of the system, which was provided in a format that met their needs.
