We carried out this on-site, announced assessment on 29 July 2024. We found the practice had met regulations. The practice had systems to manage risks and recruitment procedures reflected current legislation. Infection control procedures followed published guidance. Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance and patients were treated with dignity and respect. At the time of our assessment, patients could access care, support and treatment when required. There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. The practice is in Rugby and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. At the time of our assessment, the dental team included 11 dentists including the 2 principal dentists, 1 oral surgeon and a visiting implantologist, 12 dental nurses, including 1 trainee nurse and 3 qualified nurses who also work on reception, 1 dental hygienist and the practice manager who is also a dental nurse. The practice had 6 treatment rooms. During the assessment we spoke with both principal dentists, 4 dental nurses, 2 of these nurses were working on reception and the practice manager.
