During a routine inspection
People were given information about their treatment needs and gave consent after being told what treatment entailed and the costs involved.
The practice ensured that people were comfortable, their needs were met and arrangements were in place in case of emergency.
Staff were aware of the need for safeguarding vulnerable adults and child protection and had reviewed the practice policies and procedures in respect of this.
Good arrangements were in place to minimise the risk of infection and for the decontamination of dental instruments.
Staff told us they socialised outside of work and felt supported. They attended relevant training and appraisals were carried out. We saw there were regular practice meetings held.
At the time of our visit a satisfaction survey was being carried out. People's comments were positive about the service they received. We saw that arrangements were in place to monitor the quality of service and to maintain good standards.
