During a routine inspection
Springmount Dental Practice employed five part time dentists. The dental practice was located on two floors of a building close to the centre of Matlock. Access for people with restricted mobility was possible as the dental practice had a level access from the street, and a ground floor surgery was available for treatment. However the toilet facilities were located on the first floor, and could only be accessed by a flight of stairs as there was no lift.
We spoke with two private patients at the dental practice. They said they were very happy with their dental treatment, and that the staff were professional, friendly, and approachable. One patient said: 'The dentist always tries to put me at ease, and is very good at explaining things to me, and also explaining the different options that I have.' The second patient said: 'The staff are very helpful, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental treatment, they all very good.'
