During a routine inspection
We asked people if the practice could improve in any way. One person told us "The waiting room could provide more for children to do." Another person said "The after care is really good, everything's great."
Customer satisfaction surveys were available for people to complete and give their views. In addition there was a suggestion box in reception where people could post their comments.
We saw when new patients joined the practice a health assessment and medical history form was completed that was updated during subsequent visits. There was a system in place for alerting the dentist to any medical conditions that might affect a patient's treatment.
People we spoke with told us the dentist and dental nurse wore gloves and masks when providing treatment. One person told us "The dentist always wears the right gloves and mask, it's very clean there."
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
