During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us they felt safe at the practice and were complimentary about the treatment they received. Comments included, 'I always know what they're going to do, and I've been impressed with the difference already.' Another person said, 'Everyone here is very friendly and helps to make you feel relaxed. They always speak to me as well as my parents. I'm not ignored.'
People told us that they had been fully involved with the staff about the treatments available to them and the costs involved. Consent was sought at the outset of treatment and information was provided to people about treatment options. People told us they felt that they were treated with respect and dignity.
People said they received advice about how to brush and care for their teeth during orthodontic treatment, and what equipment could improve oral hygiene.
Records were kept securely and could be located promptly when needed. People's medical and dental health needs were documented within the electronic care records.
