We spoke with four people who used the service and the three staff working on the day of the inspection.People told us they were satisfied with the service provided. One person said "I've been coming here for many years. It's good, like a family place." Another person told us "it's always been very good, very friendly and relaxed."
The people we spoke with agreed they had no problem getting a routine or emergency appointment.
People told us they were involved in their treatment plan. One person said "everything's explained. I have the opportunity to see my X-rays."
People we spoke with were satisfied with the cleanliness of the practice. We found the decontamination process did not follow guidance from the Department of Health HTM01-05 to reduce the risk of cross infection. The provider had not implemented an effective cleaning schedule.
Staff told us they worked well as a team and were well supported. Staff attended regular training appropriate to their role and responsibilities. This was supported by an annual performance review.
The provider had a system in place to monitor the quality of the service.
