During a routine inspection
People told us they felt safe at the practice because of its 'friendly environment', 'the professional pride the provider takes' and because of their previous experience. The provider had made arrangements to protect people and respond to any suspicions of abuse.
People we spoke with said they never had concerns about the cleanliness or hygiene in the practice. We found that relevant guidance had been followed to ensure that people were treated in a hygienic environment.
People told us that the dentist always explained treatment to them and outlined the costs involved. They said that where various options were available these were pointed out. Records showed that people were consulted about their treatment.
We found that staff had opportunities for professional development and the provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided.
