During a routine inspection
Every person we spoke with told us they were happy with the treatment they had received and had recommended the service. They told us appointments were easy to book and that they were seen generally on time. One person said staff were: "helpful, very nice." All the people we spoke with said they received oral health advice. We found that the service ensured it provided treatment safely and in line with a person's treatment plan.
None of the people we spoke with had any concerns with the service. We found the service had effective policies and procedures for safeguarding children from abuse but needed to address they had no training or policies regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults.
All the people we spoke with told us that they found the service clean and tidy. The service practised effective infection control but did not have all the equipment required to ensure this was always robust.
The service ensured all staff were fully qualified to provide treatment to people. There were appropriate checks in place to ensure staff were eligible and safe to work with people in the environment.
