During a routine inspection

Patients who used the dental practice were positive about the quality of dental service they had received. Comments included: 'I and my family have been coming here for several years', There is good communication, I am told about the treatment I need', 'The decisions that I make about my treatment are respected by the dentist', 'The dentist is very good', 'I am happy with the care', 'We are reminded about appointments, and can change them easily if we want to', 'I would recommend the dental practice to people', and 'The dentist tells me how to look after my teeth'.

Patients told us the dentist informed them of the action that they could take to improve their dental health. They confirmed that they felt involved in their dental treatment plan, and were provided with treatment options, which were explained to them in a way they understood. They confirmed that the costs of treatment were made clear before treatment commenced, and they were asked for their consent prior to all treatment. Patients said their privacy and dignity were respected and the dental surgery was always clean.
