During a routine inspection
One person who had been attending for many years, and lived locally, told us they found the service 'very good'. They told us about their regular appointments for treatment and that the dentist explained what they were doing. They added that they signed for consent to treatment. The person said that they had never been delayed unreasonably as delays were usually because the person who received treatment before them had procedures that lasted longer than expected. They added that they were 'satisfied with treatment they received', had recommended and would continue to recommend the practice to others.
Another person said that they also felt the service was very good. They always found there was an appointment available at short notice if needed. They said that they found the practice clean and the reception staff friendly. The person told us that a family member had returned to the practice after working away because they found it to be good.
Other patients echoed what these had said about the cleanliness of the practice and friendliness of staff. One person said that when their children attended for appointments the dentist addressed them directly, respecting them as individuals. The dentist did not assume that because they were children they should speak with the parent. People said they knew how to complain if needed.
