During a routine inspection

The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received. We found that people were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed and they were treated in a clean and hygienic environment. There were good infection control measures in place. Surgical instruments were cleaned and stored correctly. Emergency care could be given because staff had been fully trained in this area and equipment was available for any adverse event.

The dentist and dental nurses were appropriately trained and supported to give good standards of care and treatment. Staff had received appropriate specialist training in implant and cosmetic dentistry. Staff in the service were trained in other areas of patient care for example how to recognise any potential abuse of children or vulnerable adults.

We were unable to speak with people using the service on this inspection but we looked at a recent customer satisfaction comments sent in. People reported the following,
