During a routine inspection
Patients commented that they had been able to get appointments at short notice and that waiting times had been short.
We observed reception staff talking to patients at the reception desk and over the telephone in a polite and respectful way. We saw dentists greeting patients on their arrival and talking to them politely.
Comments made by patients included:
"It's brilliant here, everybody is so nice",
"The place is always spotless",
"My dentist is fantastic",
"The girls on the desk are really helpful, polite and friendly'
All parts of the practice which we viewed looked clean and tidy and equipment was appropriately stored and labelled. Patients told us the practice had always been very clean and tidy. They also told us that they had seen staff wash their hands frequently and that they always wore protective equipment such as face masks, eye goggles and disposable aprons and gloves. We observed this practice during our visit.
