During a routine inspection
All the people told us that they thought the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. They told us that they were given full and detailed explanations about the condition of their teeth, and the examinations they received were thorough.
The two people who attended the practice for their first time told us that they moved from another practice because they felt they were not listened to. They said their experience at The Lake Dental Practice was better because the dentist had time for them. One said, 'It was not a case of five minutes and out. Everything was explained to me and that did not happen before.
People told us that getting appointments was easy and that they did not have to wait long. They said that they were required to provide a medical history and were asked if this had changed at each visit. They told us that if they required treatment they were given plans in advance with details of the treatment and its cost. They also said they were given advice about oral health and hygiene. One person told us that since following such advice the condition of their teeth had improved.
