During our inspection, people we spoke with were complimentary about the care, and treatment they received. One person said, "I am here for a check-up following a tooth extraction. The dentist is very good. I was not in pain at all during the treatment. The dentist explained to me what they were going to do. I am very pleased with the care here. I couldn't fault the staff; they are excellent. I am kept well informed.' This was echoed by another person who said, 'They are very thorough here. Every time I visit, they ask about my health and update my medical history. It's a very good service and the staff are excellent.' We spoke with members of a family, who were each having a dental check-up. They were complimentary and said that they had moved out of the area, but had decided to keep the same dentist because of the good care and treatment they had received over the years.
People we spoke with said that they had been given informed choices, and had been involved in discussions about their treatment options and costs. We noted that staff had knowledge of the safeguarding procedures for the protection of the vulnerable adults and children.
