During a routine inspection
One person who we spoke with said, "The dentist and nurses always talk to me with respect; I am always given plenty of time and am able to discuss my treatment options in private."
People received the dental treatment and care that they wanted and they were provided with information to maintain their oral health.
People were protected from abuse as staff received safeguarding training and refresher training which was supported by the practice manager.
The dental practice had an effective complaints process where people's concerns were acted upon in a timely manner.
We saw evidence that the provider had introduced checks which ensured new staff would only be recruited following successful completion of identity and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks.
