During a routine inspection
During the inspection we spoke with two dentists (one dentist was also the registered provider), two dental nurses, a receptionist and the practice manager. We spoke with seven people who used the service, four people before our visit and three people after our visit. This was to ask them about their experiences of the service.
The people we spoke with were complimentary about the service they had received. Their comments included: 'I'm really happy with the treatment, everything about it' and 'They put me at ease, I do not worry about going at all.'
Care and treatment was based on assessments of people's individual dental health needs.
Staff received appropriate training and were equipped to support people who used the service.
Infection prevention procedures were followed to minimise the risk of infection and ensure instruments were being hygienically cleaned.
There were systems in place to monitor how the practice was run to ensure people received a quality service.
