During a routine inspection
People said that their dental treatment was explained to them before it commenced and they were given the necessary information in order to make informed decisions relating to their oral health. People said they did not have to wait a long time when they needed an appointment and the service met their needs.
Arrangements were in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies and staff had received training in basic life support to ensure people's welfare in the event of an emergency.
People had no concerns about the cleanliness of the practice and current infection control standards were being followed by staff.
Staff had received adequate support and training to meet people's needs and systems were in place to monitor the quality of service provided. This included satisfaction surveys, quality audits and risk assessments.
