During a routine inspection

We spoke with four patients during our visit to the practice. Everyone we spoke with said that they were treated with respect. They said they had signed to say they agreed with the treatment and that they had their treatment options explained to them. This meant that they could make an informed decision about their dental care and treatment. One person said "The dentist discussed with me what treatment I needed. I then decided if I wanted to go ahead with the treatment.'

People told us they did not have to wait too long for appointments and that they were always welcomed in a friendly manner. One person said 'I have never had a problem getting an appointment here.' Another said 'The staff are very accommodating when making you an appointment.'

People commented to us that they thought the surgery and practice building were clean. One person said 'The practice is always clean whenever I have visited.'

We were told by the people we spoke with that they felt safe and confident when in the surgery. One person said 'All the staff at this practice are lovely. I have been coming here for over thirty years. My children come here and now my grandchildren come here.'

People told us that they have not had any need to complain, but if they needed to they would speak directly to the dentist.
