During a routine inspection
People told us they were involved in making decisions about their care and were clear on the price of treatment. One person told us, 'They said I could have it done privately or on the NHS and it was cheaper privately.'
The dentist updated people's medical history at each visit. This ensured people were safe when receiving treatment. One person told us, 'They ask me about my medical history every time.'
The practice had clear policies in place for infection control. The surgeries and decontamination room were laid out to reduce the risk of cross infection. However the detergent used to wash instruments was not appropriate for the task.
Staff told us they were supported to take part in ongoing training. The practice had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service they provide to people.
