During a routine inspection
Patients confirmed they were informed and consulted with about their treatment as well as information being provided in writing. They told us; 'A number of options were discussed as well the different costs' and 'Very clear and balanced information given'.
Patients were aware of the complaints procedure and had received a copy of the complaints leaflet. One person said if they had any concerns they 'would have the confidence to tell the dentist or any of the staff'.
We were told by patients that they found the environment to be clean and tidy and in their opinion good hygiene standards were maintained.
Patients also confirmed that they saw staff wearing protective clothing such as aprons, masks and gloves and regularly washed their hands. One patient old us they were 'provided with goggles and an apron' when receiving treatment.
