During a routine inspection
Eight people whom we spoke with expressed a high level of satisfaction with the service. A person who used the service said 'all the staff were friendly and helpful.' A second person said 'staff were very communicative and treat you as individuals.' A third person said 'generally staff were very good and humane.'
People told us that they were allowed to ask questions about their treatment. If they were unsure of information provided, the dentist would go over it again to make sure they understood the treatment. People said that they were required to complete a medical questionnaire. At each visit the dentist always asked them if there were changes to their medical condition.
People told us that the practice was comfortable and accommodating. For example, appointments were flexible to meet their needs. People said that diagnostic test results such as x-rays were explained to them. Some people said that they were shown images on the computer explaining how their treatment would be performed.
People told us that they had confidence in the care and treatment they were receiving from the practice. The eight people whom we spoke with said that the practice was 'always very clean and tidy.'
