During a routine inspection

One person we spoke with was attending the practice for the first time. They told us that they felt the dentist had carried out a very through examination. They confirmed that a medical history had been taken and this was discussed during the appointment. They went on to tell us that they had an X-Ray taken and that the dentist, 'discussed the X-Ray with me and told me that that he had found an infection so I was given antibiotics for this'.

They also told us: 'I had some pain during the scale and polish but the dentist went at a slow pace and gave me an injection to help. Two people that we spoke with told us they had no problem making appointments. We also saw that people were given a choice of dates by staff, when booking for treatment within a couple of weeks of their check up.
