During a routine inspection
We saw that people were provided with information that was explained to people through a translator, when needed, to make a decision about their treatment options. People were provided with treatment plans and information about their treatment options.
Staff were aware of the procedures for the reporting of safeguarding of vulnerable adults (SOVA) concerns and also knew the appropriate authorities to report their concerns to.
The provider supported staff to achieve further dental and health care qualifications as part of their continued personal development. All of the clinical staff we spoke with were registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and they had completed their personal development as required by the GDC.
There were systems in place for people to make a complaint about services offered by the surgery, and for them to be assured that their views and opinions would be taken seriously and investigated appropriately.
