During a routine inspection
The three patients who expressed their views told us they were happy with the service and with the treatment they had received. One patient told us 'I am new to the practice but I am happy with treatment so far'. Another patient said that they had enough information about their treatment and that they could always ask for more information if they needed it. One patient said "I have been coming to the practice for some time, I'm a bit of a nervous patient but I am put at ease by the dentist and receptionist".
Patients' needs were assessed and treatment plans were agreed with them. One patient said "I am kept fully informed throughout my treatment. The practice goes out of their way to avoid extractions".
The practice had robust infection control systems in place to protect patients from infection.
The one member of staff we spoke with was part of the Woodstock practice and was part of the team at that practice. Staff support, supervision and yearly appraisals were all done through the Woodstock practice. Staff at this practice told us that they felt well supported and part of a good team.
The provider had effective and adequate systems in place to monitor the quality of service that people received. The views of people who used the service were sought and what they said about the service was acted upon.
