During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed and their treatment planned in ways that respected their rights. We saw patient records containing full mouth assessments, and one patient told us "they said I couldn't use some of the equipment and told me to be very careful of brushing as gums are more sensitive in pregnancy. They told me to drink water after every meal to get rid of bacteria'. This demonstrated that the provider is considerate of people's individual needs.
We saw that staff were qualified and recruitment procedures followed safer recruitment practices. Staff we spoke with were aware of their role in protecting people from abuse, and ensuring people received treatment in a clean, hygienic environment that followed government guidelines. People we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the cleanliness of the practice. One person said "the surgery is always clean. They always wear a mask and gloves'.
People told us that the staff treated them well, and 'the girls at the desk are always so nice'. Another person told us "I'm very happy with what they said and they gave me good advice".
