During a routine inspection
People said that their treatment options and payment details were discussed with them before any work was carried out. They said their was a relaxed friendly atmosphere. One person told us that the quality of the work carried out was "very good" and they can "always fit you in if you need to be seen"
People told us that they were given the time and attention they needed. One person said they needed a lot of work done but it was being carried out at their own pace.
People told us they had confidence in the dentists and practice staff, who they described as being caring and professional.
The principal dentist had taken action to comply with Department of Health infection control guidance by updating the area where the dental instruments were sterilised. Further work was in progress to complete this project. We identified that one of the dental treatment chairs needed to be repaired. Formal processes to audit the decontamination and infection control procedures had not been put in place.
