During a routine inspection
People told us that the service was "exemplary". One person said "This practice is responsive and we've received very good treatment" and "I've received an excellent service", and "Nothing was ever too much trouble".
We asked to look at three surgeries and were shown the cleaning regime between people's treatments. Staff explained the process they used to prepare the surgery for each new person. We saw that there were sufficient hand wash and hand hygiene resources available and disposable gloves of all sizes were accessible. Staff showed us eye protection and masks used to protect the dentist and the patient from cross contamination.
People were made aware of the complaints system. Information was made available to people about what to do if they were unhappy with any aspect of their dental care.
As part of our inspection we asked to see records and documents. We looked at electronic records of people's dental care and treatments. Records were kept securely and could be located promptly when needed. Staff records and other records relevant to the management of the services were accurate and fit for purpose.
