During a routine inspection
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. People we spoke with were positive about the quality of care and treatment received. One patient commented "the dentist and nurse are really nice, I like coming here." another told us "it's brilliant, I've told my friends how good it is here."
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. Staff we spoke with were able to demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. All the patients we spoke with were positive about the cleanliness of the surgery, with one patient commenting "it's very clean here."
None of the patients we spoke with expressed concerns about the accuracy or confidentiality of patient records.
The provider told us that consent forms were obtained for new courses of treatment and x rays.
