During a routine inspection
Treatment was explained to people and the costs involved were made clear. Care was planned to meet the individual's needs.
People felt that they received safe and appropriate treatment. Staff were aware of what to do if they suspected abuse and had received training in protecting vulnerable children.
We found that staff wore clean uniforms and that the treatment rooms and waiting area were clean. Protective equipment was available and infection control guidelines were adhered to. Waste was segregated and disposed of appropriately.
There were adequate procedures in place to monitor the quality of the service provided. Both staff and people were given the opportunity to comment and be involved in the way in which the service was provided.
