During a routine inspection
One resident returned from a shopping trip with a new coat. It was apparent, from the pleasure on her face, when she showed the coat to the various staff members that she had chosen this particular coat and had been supported to purchase what she wanted.
Again it was apparent from the excitement one individual exhibited when staff reminded him he was going to a concert that evening that he had been involved in his activity plan and he was going somewhere that interested and excited him.
People who used the service were all registered with local GP's. One person's file indicated that staff had recognised a potential medical condition and sought the appropriate services for this person.
People living at 182 Bromham Road were relaxed and happy in the staff presence and interacted well with them.
