During a routine inspection
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. We saw that people were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance was available and had been followed. People we spoke with told us the practice was always very clean and staff always wore protective clothing when treating them. We saw staff had received training in this subject.
Staff received appropriate professional development. We saw that staff had accessed various training so they could meet people's needs and maintain their qualifications.
The practice had completed some checks to make sure staff were following good practice guidance. However, these had not always been carried out consistently.
People were given information about how to raise concerns. All the people we spoke with said they were very happy with the service they received. However, the practice did not have a system in place to gain people's views on a regular basis.
