During a routine inspection
We spoke with several people using the service, those that were able to express their views told us, they told us they were happy with the support they received from the staff team. Comments included, 'the staff are a friendly bunch and we have a laugh and joke together.' And 'staff are very helpful, they are always asking me if I'm alright.'
We observed that people were supported to maintain their dignity, such as people's appearance, which was maintained to a good standard and expressed people's identity and personal style.
People were supported and encouraged to participate in activities, this ranged from one to one activities to group activities.
All of the compliance actions left at our last visit in September 2012 have now been addressed. Information was now recorded in care plans seen regarding people's capacity to consent to their care. Staff had received updates in training and future training had been booked for staff. Repairs identified at the last inspection have been undertaken to ensure a safe environment was maintained.
