During a routine inspection
All of the patients we spoke with told us they gave fully informed consent because the provider kept them fully informed about their treatment options.
We found good evidence that staff were suitably trained so that they would know how to respond in the event of an emergency arising to keep patients safe.
We found that the premises were clean and fit for purpose. Patients also confirmed this verbally and in writing via the patient satisfaction surveys.
The staff told us the provider fully supported them in their ongoing continuous professional development so that they had the skills and knowledge to perform their job.
The practice manager told us and we saw that that records and policies were available so that staff know how to maintain a safe environment.
We saw that both paper and electronic records were maintained in line with current best practice so that patients could be confident that their personal information was stored securely.
